Heightened images are high level photographs taken using a portable mast system.  Instead of a ‘flat’ photograph taken from the ground we can provide a top-down view ensuring greater depth to the picture.  In the case of a house or commercial property, this highlights the building’s elevations and also provides a sense of scale in relation to the property and the area surrounding it.

This type of photography has many applications and popular examples include:

• property marketing eg commercial property, unique properties, large homes, private homes where access for ground level shots is difficult, or where a high level photo will show the property and its environs better, time-lapse shots for building projects, architecture promotional brochures etc
• cost effective roof and exterior surveying, avoiding the need for expensive scaffolding towers just to get a view of the roof, and for unique or listed buildings where interventionist measures are to be avoided where possible
• people group photos (such as corporate publicity shots or school photos)
• event photography – weddings, sports meetings, trade fairs
• accident investigations, traffic survey hot spots
• anywhere else where a ‘bird’s eye’ view is helpful to the subject!
